Minecraft is an open world game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game.^[17]However, there is an achievement system.^[18] Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode.^[19] The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing blocks. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes—arranged in a fixed grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move freely across the world, objects can only be placed at fixed locations on the grid. Players can gather these material blocks and place them elsewhere, thus allowing for various constructions.^[20]

At the start of the game, the player is placed on the surface of a procedurally generated and virtually infinite game world.^[21] The world is divided into biomes ranging from deserts to jungles to snowfields.^[22][23] Players can walk across the terrain consisting of plains, mountains, forests, caves, and various water bodies.^[21] The in-game time system follows a day and night cycle, with one full cycle lasting 20 real-time minutes. Throughout the course of the game, players encounter various non-player characters known as mobs, including animals, villagers and hostile creatures.^[24] Non-hostile animals—such as cows, pigs, and chickens—can be hunted for food and crafting materials, and spawn in the daytime. By contrast, hostile mobs—such as large spiders, skeletons, and zombies—spawn during nighttime or in dark places, such as caves.^[21] Some Minecraft-unique creatures have been noted by reviewers, such as the Creeper, an exploding creature that sneaks up on the player; and the Enderman, a creature with the ability to teleport and pick up blocks.^[25]

                                             

John Deere: Drive Green is a simulation game with a unique and interesting farming experience. You are a farmer doing various jobs for other farmers to earn money and improve your own farm and equipment. You'll get behind the wheel of a number of authentic John Deere machines as you tackle jobs such as plowing or spraying fields. You'll have to work quickly but efficiently to complete the jobs and earn the most money.

Farming is Just Better on John Deere Rigs

You start off your farming career with only limited and basic equipment. To earn more money and improve your own farm, you'll first need to earn money by doing jobs for other farmers. Successfully completing jobs will earn you money (John Deere dollars) that can be used to buy new machines. You can use the experience you gain doing jobs for other farmers and the machines you buy to grow and harvest crops on your own farm. You must also maintain your property and tackle simply tasks such as mowing your lawn.

Pick A Job and Get'er Done!

There are fifteen different jobs available in John Deere: Drive Green. Each job places you in control of an authentic John Deere machine in a unique location. One job will have you harvesting crops with a 9860 STS Combine in a field, while another will have you using a CX20 mower to cut the grass on a golf course. Other jobs have duties that range from planting seeds to spraying crops. Although each job explores a different machine and aspect of farming, the gameplay does not differ significantly from one job to the next. It may be realistic, but can also be repetitive. Additionally, working on a large field can be boring as you'll need to drive around it many times to complete the job.

Easy Controls

John Deere: Drive Green is not a very difficult game when it comes to controls or gameplay. The controls needed for each machine are clearly laid out before you need to use them, and can be referenced via the menu. Vehicles are moved with the WASD keys, while their implements (like a mower or plow) are activated with the Space Bar. Gameplay is not very difficult either, with jobs consisting of simply driving your John Deere machine around a field until you have sufficiently covered it. However, covering a field more efficiently will earn you more John Deere dollars than randomly or poorly covering the field would.

Unique Theme For Farming Dudes and Dudettes

John Deere: Drive Green has an unusual and intriguing farming theme present throughout all aspects of the game. From the clothing of your character to the detailed and realistic John Deere vehicles, you'll feel immersed in the world of farming. You are literally in the driver's seat of these machines. You'll watch fields change before your eyes as you plow, seed, spray, and mow them. The music also provides a nice compliment to the gameplay and helps set the farming atmosphere.

Some Replay

While John Deere: Drive Green offers fifteen different missions, the game can be short. There are a limited number of vehicles or implements to buy with the John Deere dollars, and once you have bought them all you have no more use for the money. However, there are some things that may keep you playing even after that point. You can redo the jobs and try to be more efficient to earn more money (although the extra money won't help you). Army Men: RTS's gameplay requires the acquisition and extraction of two resources to build structures, vehicles and soldiers: plastic and electricity. Plastic, required for every construct, is taken from objects such as Frisbees, dog bowls and toys strewn about levels ranging from a front yard to a kitchen counter and even a basement. On destruction of a plastic object, a lump of plastic is left behind until a dump truck, the collector of plastic and electricity, slugs by and vacuums it. Electricity is drawn from batteries, toasters and walkie-talkies. Construction and upgrades of most buildings and some soldiers are contingent on some buildings having been built. For instance, at the onset of the game the resource depot, the processing facility, must be built so that dump trucks have somewhere to unload their collections.

Players use their resources to construct buildings and units. Because both factions have access to the same units, or infantry and vehicles, advantage lies at how they're used. Some buildings assemble vehicles and produce soldiers and others provide defense. Production buildings can be upgraded to produce better units. Infantry troops are cheap to produce but are not as tough, while vehicles tend to be costly. Vehicles range from dump trucks and base-building bulldozers to helicopters, tanks and half-tracks to Dum-dums, suicidal robots armed with firecrackers. Aside from grunts and grenadiers, infantry units have a special tasks: Minesweepers defuse mines, snipers are deadly from distance and mortar men, especially three or more, rain ruination on buildings in short order.

To raise animals, the player must regularly water the grass they eat. A well with a limited capacity supplies the water and costs money to refill. Once the player buys an animal, the animal starts eating grass and dropping goods for the player to pick up. For example, chickens lay eggs, sheep produce wool and cows produce milk. The goods the player picks up are stored in a warehouse with limited capacity. From there, the player may either sell the goods by having a truck transport them to town or turn them into more valuable goods using a specific processing facility. goal in a Predators such as bears sometimes appear on the farm. The player must cage them by quickly and repeatedly clicking on them; otherwise, the predators will toss the other animals off the farm and destroy any goods lying on the ground. In addition to purchasing animals that produce goods, the player can also buy cats and dogs. Cats collect goods that lie on the ground, while dogs chase down predators and prevent them from doing harm. Farm Frenzy 2 introduced an airplane the player can send to town to purchase items the player can't produce on the farm, such as ingredients needed to produce more valuable goods.

Each level in a Farm Frenzy game has a unique set of objectives. These might include owning so many of a particular animal, producing a certain number of goods or having a specific amount of cash on hand. The animal and money goals are checked off as soon as the player completes those objectives, and remain checked off even if the player sells the animals or spends the cash. The game also keeps track of the number of goods the player picks up. If the player uses or sells a good he's collected, the game doesn't reduce the tally. The player must complete the goals for a level within a specific time limit. Skilled players can earn Silver and Gold awards by completing levels within shorter time limits.
